SHOCKING: A.A LAWAL CONFIRMED DEAD.

BREAKING NEWS: Eastern Region FA BOSS DEAD.

Ghana football has been dealt another huge blow with the news of the death of the Eastern Region Football Association Chairman, A.A. Lawal.

Mr. Lawal, who is believed to be in his mid-60s was pronounced dead on arrival at the Nsawam Government Hospital on Monday.

Confirming the news to FootballMadeInGhana.com, Alhaji Mamudu, relative of A.A Lawal said he was pronounced dead after rushing him to the hospital.

According to him, the late Lawal fell sick on Thursday and was taken to the hospital but was discharged after some medications.

“Yes, it’s true. He was pronounced dead after we got to the hospital. We took him earlier to a near-by clinic and was referred to the Nsawam Government Hospital.

“He fell sick on Thursday but the sickness subsided after some medication. But this morning it got serious and by the time we got to the hospital, he was pronounced dead,” he narrated.

Until his death, A.A. Lawal was a member of the Executive Committee of the Ghana FA.

DISSOLVE S.P OFFICE NANA ADDO TOLD.

Isaac Gyan,aka (kantinka),a national Youth Executive Member, of the Conventions Peoples Party(CPP), has jabbed Nana Addo to dissolve Special Prosecutors office if it is of no use to fight corruption in the country. Speaking to Nana Sieh Amakye on classic FM morning show in Techiman on the current Global Corruption Index in which Ghana was ranked 78 out of 180 countries in the world. The eloquent communicator said, Mr. Martin Amidu has been in office for one year and over and yet no arrest and prosecution has been made, hence should vacate his office if he can't fight the canker . Gyan added that, the Auditor General should be given prosecutorial powers to deal with corruption in the country. He also charged Nana Addo to summon all political parties on one table to brainstorm on corruption fight since it can't be handled by only one political party.
